After several changes and a last minute venue opening, my gaming clan is hosting a little get-together of friends, food, and of course the games!

This Saturday, I’m going to be playing the new Gears Of War: Judgement, and checking out some of the new content of World Of Warcraft Patch5.2 (I miiight play some Halo4 multiplayer if anyone else is into it…)

SUCCESSFUL NIGHT OF GAMING!

- Not only was I able to finally hit lvl90 in WoW, I also got to explore the insanely random secret dungeon in Diablo3

WoW MILESTONE OF THE DAY

∆ It’s crazy to think that this game has been around for 8 years already! And that I’ve been playing it for 4 of those years!! And that in those 4 years I’ve done 3000 quests!!!
To the people that told me “don’t do it, you’ll become an addict” when I first started playing, I’d like to share what else has happened in my life…
- I graduated from College.
- Got my dream job that I had worked towards for 6 years.
- Started cycling and gaming hobbyist community groups.
- Made many new/fantastic friends IRL and online.
- Traveled, moved 3 times, and got my own house.
This isn’t to boast, it’s to say that video games are not (and never have been) something that WILL cripple your life. For some, yes, but gaming enthusiasts are still very capable of running successful lives. It’s about will power and motivation. This is to encourage older gamers to not be ashamed, and younger gamers to be proud :)

WoW:MoP - Day 1

I just finished playing through the new starting zone for the Pandarins, and thought I’d share some of my highlights…

A couple of “Realm First’s” that happened while I was on.

I walked into a battle that a bunch of randoms were having with this Dragon. It was fun to see the different ways that they are incorporating group questing without having to party up!

The battle for the Skybreaker was a little weird, but I guess it was already destroyed in Cataclysm…so they’ll probably just rebuild it :P

And of course the big decision that you anticipate the whole time…I sided with the Alliance (even though it’d be rad to see Panda’s and Tauren battling side by side)

Overall my favorite part was exploring the new land, and of course there’s the big plot twist that answers the question “why can’t I find the starting zone on the World Map???”
haha but I won’t spoil that part for you, it’s too much fun!

WoW:MoP UPDATE

The new sign-in screen is the exact opposite from what Cataclysm welcomed us with.
Calm, soothing…it also reminds me a little of Burning Crusades screen.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: MISTS OF PANDARIA [trailer]

WoW:MoP [beta] The First 24hrs

Holy n00bfest! As you can clearly see people have already resorted to spamming certain area’s of Pandaria…ugh. That huge dogpile of bots is covering an object we have to interact with, and we all decided to lineup like we’re grocery shopping I guess…
I actually ended up switching realms after many frozen/crashed attempts. After asking around it seems the only way to solve this problem is to max out your graphic settings and relog, causing characters to take longer to load then objects, giving you only a few seconds to interact with the object…except for me…for me it just crashed (over and over and over). I suggest if you run into areas like this, just chill and go do other stuff for a day.
Other than that it’s been fantastic! Ilovethe Panda race, and being a Monk is pretty fun (though I haven’t gotten to the juicy stuff yet). But mostly I love the environment. Can’t WAIT to fly through at full-release!
