LIGHTS Acoustic Siberia in Winnipeg

:: This was an unreal performance, filmed on the most scratched up iPhone. She played such a wide variety of songs, it made up for the venue having a broken AC. And as always Winnipeg stayed classy by constantly talking/cursing while she played…so glad my mic didn’t pick any of it up.

FOREVER I - CD Release 

:: It was so much fun being able to celebrate the release of my friends newest CD. Bigger still (for me) was the amount of support shown for local hardcore music! I’ve been putting on concerts fooor…7 years now I think? And through that time I’ve seen love within the music scene fluctuate. And while the last few years have been kinda rough, with little-to-no support shown, I think this night proved that there are people who care about local/hardcore music! 

ESSENTIALS at the Forever I CD Release! 

:: In an epic turn of events, both vocalists (past & present) hit the Park Theater stage. The result was a dogpile for the mic that I haven’t seen in a while! Very proud roommate moment :) 
It’s great to see a packed out venue for just a couple of local hxc kids. The MBmusic scene needs more love and less judgement. 

My new friends in Beggars played at The Bunker…

:: If you’re into a mix of instrumental/eclectic/rock that will give you a sound similar to mewithoutyou/LaDispute you need to check out this fine Manitoba band :)
