Again, this grandiose news feels a little lackluster to someone not carrying an iPhone4S (I still have a regular ol’ 4). However, I have always been a believer in looking at where the technology is taking us, not what it’s current limits are.
Phone - The obvious is obvious; it needed an upgrade. With such an amazing device I’m surprised it took them this long to figure out what 3rd party Apps were already doing!
Fbook - Much like how Twitter was integrated into every part of the phone, making the need to open/close apps and windows useless.
Passbook - Another one of those genius additions to the device to make it a part of our everyday life. Lately I’ve been hearing people saying “I need a new App, I’m bored with my phone” …I think this will solve that.
Maps - Not so much the App itself, but the fact that someone is taking on Google Maps is a big deal to me. I’ve always loved the partnership of Google Apps on an Apple device, but if my loyalty was questioned I would always side with Apple.
Mail - I feel like this was a useless upgrade for an App thateveryoneseems to have difficulty with in some way.
iOS’s before this made the iPhone a part of your life, this upgrade will make it essential to how you compute.
