APERTURE: PERPETUAL TESTING INITIATIVE
In case you missed it, Valve has decided to do something completely logical by opening the doors to Portal 2 and giving creative control of the testing chambers to YOU…us…me :)
Much like Halo’s “Forge” it looks like we’ll soon be able to create our own test chambers.
I love you Valve <3
CES’12: DAY1
There’s definite signs of trends at this years Consumer Electronics Show…
1. PROJECT FIONA [Gizmodo] [IGN]
It’s like a tablet with two Wii-motes attached to it. It can run “Space Marine” beautifully, and might be the only reason I use a Windows device.
2. ULTRABOOKS
Hands on [here]
What is it [here]
3. GIZ@CES [here]
Gizmodo takes you on a walkthrough of their first day at the event.
- Windows 8
- Revenge of TV’s
- and more…
I am now the proud owner of a new 2002 Toshiba PC (haha no really…)
My dad bought a new business laptop, and while sorting through files and backups he found this ol’ clunker underneath his bed :P I literally found it in the garbage and decided to adopt it.
It still works fine, a little sluggish, requires a wireless-internet reader card, and needs to be plugged into a power source for the keyboard to work…oh and weighs about as much as a Buick…but it still works.
I’ve deleted everything but MS Word; so it’ll sit in my office when I’m in Winkler, and at my parents when I’m in school. Plus it’s kinda fun learning XP and Firefox, I trashed my PC before the upgrade from MS2000.
And no, my iMac is hardly jealous…
