Daily Thoughts…
It’s Thursday, my “blah” day. I finished tomorrow’s Bible Study a day early, my roommate is gone, and the only “work” I have left is some sketches. I’ve decided today will be a me day; continue reading through Book 2 of The Hunger Games, hopefully finish the Dark Brotherhood questline in Skyrim, and go over Purpose Driven Life for some future plans I have at The Bunker.
Lately I haven’t enjoyed days off, I like to keep busy and goal oriented to avoid becoming lazy. But, some news was dropped on me this week that could once again change the way I live…so…for now I’m relaxing, preparing, and enjoying the things that are in front of me right now.

By chance and good luck, I found a Quill, picked up the username “QuestLight77” and have found myself stumbling into the online world of Harry Potter!
I’m very stoked to finally have the ability to purchase eBook copies (trying to cutback on the number of physical items in my possession) and it’ll be interesting to find out what JK means by “readers shape the world of HP”.
Why the Sacraments were Instituted
Of all the means employed to teach the proper use of the Sacraments, there is none more effectual than a careful exposition of the reasons of their institution. Many such reasons are commonly assigned.
The first of these reasons is the feebleness of the human mind. We are so constituted by nature that no one can aspire to mental and intellectual knowledge unless through the medium of sensible objects. In order, therefore, that we might more easily understand what is accomplished by the hidden power of God, the same sovereign Creator of the universe has most wisely, and out of His tender kindness towards us, ordained that His power should be manifested to us through the intervention of certain sensible signs…

Concept of Genre
In literature no text exists on its own, but is always classified together with other texts that have definite characteristics in common, a class or group known as a literary genre. The attempt to determine the genre of a particular writing is extremely important for interpretation because the conventions associated with its genre help the reader understand that piece of literature. For example, if one understands the rules and codes that are used in poetry, by applying them in reading one will be better able to understand a particular poem. However, to read a novel as though it were a historical treatise would apply the wrong codes and conventions to the novel and one would end up with a false interpretation and understanding.
