2013: Day 63

A typical Canadian Monday…

Went to sleep to moderately appropriate spring weather. Awoke to a blizzard :/ spent my morning digging my car our and clumsily trying to get from point A to point B.

Started the writing process for my first sermon evarrr (which will be on March 24th so if you’re in the area come check it out!) aaand I’m way less nervous now that I’ve gathered a few pages of notes. Still wanna barf at the thought, but hey, it’s progress.

Work in the evening was…dead…but we wanted to be open for anyone that was looking for refuge from the snow. And it helped that the lovely ladies over at Jonny’s Java hooked us up with some coffee, seriously, angels.

PS: Just finished the newest Walking Dead! So. Good.

ONE WEEK AWAY!!!  Lots of free food being served during this whole event - local speakers, acoustic tunes, and fresh Manitoba hiphop! All free for all ages, to support a great cause!

I SPILLED THE BEANS!Lastnight I checked out another workshop at my friends coffee shop [Jonny’s Java]If you live in the area and you’ve never been…check it out! They happen on Thursdays, though the schedule is a bit random it’s always posted on their Fbook…anyway… This week I got to make my own cup using a chemex, which I’d never done. 1. My weekend started on Thursday when Curb came out for a coffee tasting at Jonny’s Java
2. We spent as much time as possible on our bikes!
3. My work (The Bunker) had it’s grand opening; lots of people and food :)
4. Went on a man-date in a nice car!
5. Saw Prometheus twice - it’s that good!
6. CaptainBear played a reunion jam session at The Station
