2013: Day 48

Running on 4hrs of sleep, highly caffeinated, and pumped full of pizza…

I spent the day with a house full of friends, food, and the nerdiest games you could think of. It was great, and very needed. It’s not often that I get together with my small circle of gaming comrades.

Thaaat’s pretty much it. I ate a large pizza, built some houses in Minecraft, ran a few dungeons in WoW, racked up a number of achievements in Diablo3, and had far too many energy drinks.

Preeetty stoked to wash up and crawl into bed…

2013: Day 12

I couldn’t post lastnight, cause technically I didn’t get home until 5AM…
Yesterday was pretty perfect; snowed-in morning with bacon, coffee, and my awesome roommate (who first shoveled the walkthenGAVE me his collection of comicbooks). Played videogames all afternoon, then went to the LivingWithLions/TitleFight show in Wpg. THERE I got to see so many friendly internet faces, and some lovely people I haven’t seen in a while :)

Yup, perfect day.

Hopefully this makes it into Jurassic Park 4!!! 

2. FBOOK HITS 1BILLION [MSNBC.com]
Meaning 1/7 people that are alive on the entire planet uses Facebook. Woah. 

3. ROMNEY vs BIG BIRD [Forbes.com]
Apparently during last night’s debate, he stated that if elected he would cut funding to things like PBS. Just another reason why he’s the best choice for a worse America.

4. GAMING NEWS
WoW IS STILL MMO KING [IGN.com] 
With all the rumors that the game is dying out, Blizzard announced that thanks to MoP they are back to 10+ million users.  
CLIFFY B LEAVS EPIC [IGN.com] 
The face behind games like Gears Of War and Unreal Tournament is calling it quits :( 

WoW:MoP - Day 1

I just finished playing through the new starting zone for the Pandarins, and thought I’d share some of my highlights…

A couple of “Realm First’s” that happened while I was on.

I walked into a battle that a bunch of randoms were having with this Dragon. It was fun to see the different ways that they are incorporating group questing without having to party up!

The battle for the Skybreaker was a little weird, but I guess it was already destroyed in Cataclysm…so they’ll probably just rebuild it :P

And of course the big decision that you anticipate the whole time…I sided with the Alliance (even though it’d be rad to see Panda’s and Tauren battling side by side)

Overall my favorite part was exploring the new land, and of course there’s the big plot twist that answers the question “why can’t I find the starting zone on the World Map???”
haha but I won’t spoil that part for you, it’s too much fun!
