Daily Thoughts 23.0
- I’m really digging clean/white/helvetica layouts right now. Any coincidence that Apple just had a big launch (lol)? I also really like woodgrain and galaxy themes, don’t know why, woodgrain is always my laptops wallpaper. - Tonight there’s a fundraiser for Haiti, missing it to finish homework. Wish I could do more to for both Haiti and homework :P - I received an email from...

"iPad" is Already the Name of a Japanese Phone  →
Story goes that in ‘02 Fujitsu patented the name iPad for one of their phones, and in early 2009 the patent was up…leaving the name up for grabs, but then again in summer of ‘09 Fuji reclaimed it. Now that Apple is claiming rights, the two companies might have to duke it out with lawyers, seeing as how its speculated that Apple isn’t looking to buy out the name.

Relive the New Millenium  →
IGN is reliving the past 10 years by going over a year a day starting back at 2000! Relive the memories of seeing movies like Spider-Man, LOTR, and Minority Report…and playing games like Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime, and Splinter Cell 1.

Why I Like the iPad [so we can stop talking about...
- I love mobile computing, I love the iPhone, I love my MacBook…if I can have something that simply combines the two (somewhat) then I’m in. - I’ve been searching for months for a decent eReader…iPad has that - It works with iWork09 so I can type notes in class, now that they want to ban laptops at my school (I type faster than I write) - It comes already/legally...

USA Today: Marvel Comics' 'heroes will be heroes... →
comicbooks: “Heroes will be heroes again,” says Marvel editor in chief Joe Quesada. “They’ve gone through hell and they’re back to being good guys — a throwback to the early days of the Marvel Universe, with more of a swashbuckling feel.” The change begins with a relaunch of Avengers #1, which will reunite Iron Man, a reborn Captain America and Thor as comrades rather than foes. ...

Legion Review [spoilers]
I’m writing this because I know that a lot of people will write this movie off as being anti-Christian/God, or something like that. I received a bunch of responses/comments/messages from people when I posted on Twitter that I was going to see it. I think the overall feeling was that this movie was filth, and by seeing it was pushing the Christianity out of me…or something crazy like...

What did everyone think of lastnight's Heroes?

Daily Thoughts 22.0
Snow Day! - I definitely only got out of bed for an hour today…to make supper and watch Heroes. I can justify this by letting you know that I finished all my homework (readings and stuff due early this week) before the weekend, and I don’t have anything to work on really until Wednesday or I guess tomorrow if I wanted to make it easy on myself. - Did some achievement hunting on Mass...

Top 5 [tv]
Honorable Mentions: Entourage: Because my roommate got me hooked on it. However, I have a feeling I’ll forget about it once we’re done the series. Coogertown: Pay no attention to the name; it’s not gross, and actually really funny! I love the retarded divorcee dad and his little bald friend. 5. Mad Men Although I’ve only watched the first 5 episodes I’m already...

Daily Thoughts 21.0
- After watching 4 seasons of Entourage and getting somewhat of a “glimpse” at how movies are decided upon, it makes me sick to see how quickly comic/scifi movies are being pumped out these days. Remakes/sequels/prequels/reboots are being chosen simply to make a franchise more money instead of trying to come up with an original new story. All this churning of Hollywood crap, mixing out...

Conan & NBC Part Ways  →
Conan has finally decided to step down. Apparently his final show with The Tonight Show will be Friday and as part of the deal he’s not allowed to air on another show until September. Read the article, it’s not as bad as it sounds (for people who love Coco), and I like that as part of the deal neither side is allowed to publicly bash the other. I’m hoping that he is able to go...
